Piano Recital at St Leonard’s Church, Hythe

There is a piano recital to be given by Christopher Guild in St Leonard’s Church on Saturday 7 November 2009 at 7.30pm. Tickets at £7 on sale at Brandon’s Music Shop, 55 High Street, Hythe, tel 01303 263108, or can be obtained at the door. (Admission free to those under 18 in full-time education.)

Christopher Guild graduated in July 2009 from the Royal College of Music (RCM), where he distinguished himself by winning several prestigious prizes and gained a reputation for his performances of 20th century and non-core repertoire. Christopher is regularly called upon to work with the RCM Sinfonietta and New Perspectives Ensemble as an orchestral keyboardist, and is the pianist in several duos. He performs regularly around the UK. In September 2009 Christopher returned to the RCM, resuming his studies in pursuit of a Masters Degree in performance.

Chopin: Ballade in F minor, Op. 52
Respighi: Three Preludes on Gregorian Themes
